The Story of the Juyuan Building
The Juyuan Building was built in AD 1069. It is famous in China because Su Dongpo, a great writer of the Northern Song Dynasty, visited the Juyuan Building and wrote poems. Together with the Yellow Crane Tower (founded in 223 AD), Yueyang Tower (founded in 215 AD), and Tengwang Pavilion (founded in 653 AD), it is also known as the "Four Famous Buildings in the South of the Yangtze River", and was later destroyed in the war.
